Public Revelation of a Personal Decision

In an intimate video shared on August 12 via her YouTube channel, 니얼굴 은혜씨, Jung Eun-hye addressed this pivotal life choice in a segment titled “From Cat Adoption to Writing an Adoption Statement, and Newlywed Life Reflections.” The clip offers a candid glimpse into her life as a newlywed, following her recent appearance on SBS’s Same Bed, Different Dreams 2.

Acknowledging Family Bonds

During her heartfelt discussion, Jung Eun-hye expressed her desire to legally change her name to Seo Eun-hye, emphasizing the importance of honoring her stepfather, Seo Dong-il. She stated, “It would be much better if my name changes to Seo Eun-hye. He would truly become my real younger sibling’s and my real father.” This move signifies her intention to forge a more meaningful familial connection.

Formalizing the Adoption Process

To make this transition official, Jung Eun-hye drafted an adoption statement that encapsulated her complicated family history. She shared, “I had a biological father, but he and my mom didn’t get along, so she remarried. After the divorce, I cut off contact with him. One day, he didn’t come to see me anymore.” This poignant recollection highlights the emotional journey leading to her decision.
