Jynxzi has offered an apology following allegations from a TikToker that he had filed a copyright claim against a YouTube video featuring their impression of the popular Twitch personality.
On June 15, 2024, JacobWeeby shared a video on his TikTok where he showcased his impression of Jynxzi. However, after the Twitch star reacted to it on stream, he received a copyright strike for the uploaded content.
“Although it is my original content, Jynxzi’s live reaction to my video on stream has led to him taking ownership of it,”Jacob stated. “I even acknowledged him in the video.”

In September 2023, Jynxzi signed a partnership with Aegis.tm, a copyright protection service, resulting in a DRM Protection notice being issued on behalf of Jynxzi for aegis.tm.
Since being uploaded, Jacob’s TikTok video about the copyright strike has received over 3.5M views. After Jynxzi inevitably saw it, he did his best to offer assistance.
Jacob provided an update on the situation, stating that Jynxzi had contacted him to handle everything. Jynxzi retracted the copyright strike and sent a direct message to the TikToker to express their apology.
“I simply wanted to ensure fairness by publicly acknowledging his apology,”stated Jacob. “I want to make it clear that I am not attempting to cancel Jynxzi in any way and I do not wish for his downfall.”
It is important for us, as human beings, to acknowledge our mistakes and offer apologies. I hope that he experiences great success in his streaming career.

Upon viewing Jacob’s update video, users swiftly inundated the comments section with their opinions on the entire situation.
One user responded, stating that Jynxzi is a truly supportive and genuine individual, however, managing the business aspects of his content creation while also being the main focus can be challenging.
Another exclaimed, “Wow! Two mature adults resolving an issue on social media so efficiently and cordially without any animosity or conflict. Is this real life?”
Jynxzi is not the only creator who has experienced unwanted copyright strikes on YouTube. In 2022, IShowSpeed also spoke out against a company that was falsely claiming copyright on fan-uploaded clips from his YouTube channel.
