On X, THIS female idol garnered attention from K-pop fans due to her response upon discovering that she was featured on a “nugu”promoter’s account.
On June 10th, the news of K-pop soloist GYUBIN’s upcoming comeback on June 26th started circulating after she retweeted a post on X. Her tweet caught attention due to her use of the word “nugu,”accompanied by a heart and teary-eyed emoji, as well as a thumbs up.
In the world of K-pop, the term “nugu”is commonly used by fans outside of South Korea to describe artists who have not yet gained widespread recognition or popularity and are still on the path to stardom.

GYUBIN also shared posts from other X accounts promoting her upcoming release, gaining attention from K-pop fans.
Observing her actions, admirers found her incredibly endearing, yet simultaneously, they were saddened by the fact that she is not widely recognized among music enthusiasts.
Thanks to her determination and genuineness, fans from other fandoms have declared their support for her album, hoping to help her break free from the “nugudom.”They have been leaving encouraging comments such as:

Before making her debut, she had already made a name for herself in the music industry by collaborating with well-known artists such as Gaeko, Wonstein, and Nell.
