Kai Cenat has recently reacted to Kanye West’s series of contentious social media posts, indicating that a collaborative streaming session with the artist is likely off the table due to the backlash.
The controversy erupted when Kanye’s provocative tweets captured significant attention on Twitter/X on February 7. During a live Twitch broadcast on January 7, Cenat addressed the situation directly.
“I’mma go ahead and address the elephant in the room, ” he stated.“I’ve seen the tweets; I don’t know what’s going on, bruh. I think it’s GGs. Look, I think it is GGs, ”referencing the previously discussed co-stream with Kanye.
“It’s crazy, bro. I don’t know, bro. It’s just back to back to back. I think it’s GGs, ” he concluded, signaling a strong likelihood that the collaboration may not materialize.
Despite the unrelenting inquiries from his extensive fanbase flooding the chat during the stream, Cenat chose to keep his remarks short and quickly returned to the ongoing entertainment.
Kai Cenat’s Collaboration with Kanye West Faces Uncertainty
Kai’s comments come just a few days after he met Kanye West in person during a Twitch IRL stream at the Grammy Awards. Their interaction was notably warm, with the two exchanging friendly greetings—a moment that appeared promising for their collaborative efforts.
This meeting marked a significant turnaround, especially considering the public feud that occurred back in April 2024. During that time, Kanye accused Cenat of being critical of his YZY clothing line, labeling him an “industry plant.”
However, the narrative shifted at the beginning of January when Kai shared that their “beef was over” following a surprising direct message from Kanye via Instagram. Cenat acknowledged that they had been communicating almost daily, remarking, “Never would I thought I’d be able to say that.”
Plans were even laid for a potential meetup in Japan, where Kanye currently resides with his wife, along with the prospect of collaborating on a stream. However, following Kanye’s recent disruptive posts on social media, hopes for any immediate joint streaming sessions appear dashed.
