Despite years of mutual support, Kourtney Kardashian recently unfollowed TikTok sensation Charli D’Amelio on Instagram. This move has sparked speculation among fans about the reasons behind Kourtney’s decision to end their online connection.
According to a report from the Instagram account ‘teatotalk’ on April 25, it was revealed that Kourtney Kardashian, a reality star, had unfollowed TikToker Charli D’Amelio on Instagram.
In 2022, Kourtney and Charli’s friendship originated when Charli began dating Landon Barker, the son of Travis Barker, who is Kourtney’s husband. Their bond continued to grow and in July 2023, Charli made an appearance on the popular Kardashian family show, The Kardashians, which airs on Hulu.
Despite Charli and Landon’s breakup in February of this year, Charli received support from both Kourtney and Travis during her relationship with Landon. When Charli emerged as the winner of Season 31 of Dancing with the Stars, Kourtney and Travis were present in the live audience, rooting her on throughout her journey. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight after a DWTS performance, Charli even referred to them as her “friends and family.”

In September 2023, Kourtney underwent fetal surgery and Charli caught up with People to share her joy for Kourtney and Travis. “I am thrilled for them. I believe everyone is just happy to see them in a good place,”she expressed.
Despite the apparent tension between Kourtney and Charli, the reason for Kourtney’s decision to unfollow Charli on Instagram is currently unknown. Nevertheless, followers of the two have their own theories.
One fan expressed their opinion, stating that they personally do not want their stepmom to follow their ex, as Charli and Landon ended their relationship earlier this year.
“It was widely believed that Charli and Landon’s unfollowing of each other was a result of their split. This sentiment was shared by many, with one stating, “I’m not surprised,”and another adding, “It was expected.”
Kourtney can be linked to more than just Charli as a famous TikToker. She also formed a viral friendship with Addison Rae in 2020, after Kourtney’s son Mason Disick showed his admiration for her TikTok videos.

Addison and Kourtney’s friendship blossomed rapidly after Addison’s appearance on Keeping Up with the Kardashians in 2021. Their bond became so strong that many fans began to speculate that they were in a romantic relationship. In addition, Kourtney made a cameo in Addison’s 2021 film, ‘He’s All That,’ for Netflix.
Despite Kourtney and Addison maintaining their friendship, it appears that Kourtney is currently not interested in having any involvement with Charli. However, Charli remains a follower of Kourtney on Instagram. It remains to be seen if Charli will react to Kourtney’s choice to distance herself from her.
