In a crowded parking lot, a woman narrowly avoided being towed as the truck pursued her car.
Hoodlum, a popular TikTok user with 3.2M followers, recently shared a video on their account that was originally posted by Marissa Myrick. Despite the video being from early April, Hoodlum’s repost of a woman escaping from a repossession tow truck has already gained 5.2M views and continues to gain more.
As the viral video played, Marissa’s voice could be heard in the background, enthusiastically urging the woman to make a quick escape. “Drive off, drive off, drive off! Go, go, go, go, go!”she yelled, likening the dramatic scene of the woman backing out of the crowded parking lot to a “real life GTA [grand theft auto].”
Despite the driver’s attempts to evade the tow truck by reversing her car quickly, the tow truck matched her speed and continued to try and load her car onto their truck.
Marissa’s shouts of “Go b*tch go!”persisted as the driver accelerated away from the tow truck, causing them to abandon their pursuit, most likely due to the danger of chasing the reckless driver.

After watching the viral video, many viewers have criticized the tow truck for persistently tailing the driver. One person wrote, “I can’t believe the tow truck didn’t give up!”Another commented, “It’s unbelievable that he followed her like that!”
Some viewers also remarked on the impressive dedication shown by the tow truck driver in their work. One person joked, “He’s really serious about his job lol.”Another added, “It seemed like this job was personal for the tow truck driver.”

Despite successfully evading having her car towed, the reason why the repossession truck was pursuing the driver remains a mystery. Nevertheless, it is possible that the driver’s failure to make timely car payments contributed to the situation.
