Kevin Feige Reveals Big MCU Plot Hole Will Be Answered Soon

Despite the upcoming release of Deadpool & Wolverine, there remains a great deal of concern surrounding the status of a major MCU landmark. Fortunately, Kevin Feige has confirmed that we can expect to receive answers in the near future.

Specifically addressing the inquiry of the whereabouts of the Avengers Tower, it has not been utilized in recent Marvel films as it was replaced by the upgraded Avengers Compound.

In Spider-Man: Homecoming, Tony Stark actually sold the tower, and in Spider-Man: Far From Home, it is shown undergoing renovations. This raises the question of who purchased the famous property and for what purpose.

Feige has assured fans that all will be disclosed in future Marvel projects. When questioned about the identity of the person who purchased it all those movies ago, if it remains the same person now, and when we can expect to find out, he confirmed to ComicBook.com: “Yes, yes, and yes.”

Despite its simplicity, this answer does not reveal much. However, it is sufficient for Marvel fans to come up with their own theories.

One Reddit user inquired, “Who has the means to purchase a tower in the MCU? Not many individuals have that kind of wealth, perhaps Danny Rand and Norman Osborne, although it seems unlikely.”

Another person stated that the top speculations are either Valentina, who would appear in Thunderbolts, or Mephisto, who would make an appearance in Ironheart. They added that the confirmation should come next year.

Among the notable people and groups mentioned were Fisk, Danny Rand, Shuri, Kang (Qeng), Pym, Norman Osborne, Reed Richards, the US government, Dr. Doom, Namor, Professor X, Justin Hammer, and the 10 Rings, all of whom have the means to purchase a building.

The option of Reed Richards (and the Fantastic Four) was brought up multiple times. Additionally, a comment was made stating, “In NYC, there is a white and blue skyscraper with a circular logo on the side. If you drop the lower half of the left stroke in the A, it transforms into a number 4.”

“I believe they will prolong the process (possibly with a temporary owner), but there is absolutely no doubt that it will eventually be the Baxter Building.”

As the unveiling of Marvel Phase 6 approaches, we can expect the answer to be confirmed soon. (Or, if we’re fortunate, Deadpool and Wolverine may even beat us to it!)
