Kim Hye-yoon, who made a guest appearance on the show “Whenever Possible”, secured the top spot in the TV-OTT non-drama performer buzz ranking for the first week of June according to Good Data Corporation’s report on June 11th. This is a significant achievement as it is the first time a guest from “Whenever Possible”has made it to the top 10 since the show’s inception. Furthermore, the program experienced a 70.9% surge in buzz compared to the previous week, reaching its highest level of topicality.
With this, Byun Woo-seok and Kim Hye-yoon have both reached the first place within two weeks, solidifying their status as the most talked-about couple worthy of name. Byun Woo-seok had previously topped the non-drama performer buzz ranking in the fourth week of May, making this achievement even more impressive.
Lee Yong-woo and Kim Ji-won, who both starred in “My Sibling’s Romance”, secured the second and third spots respectively. In fourth place was Chun Woo-hee, who made a guest appearance on “You Quiz on the Block”.
Kim Ki-ri, Park Jae-hyung, Moon Ji-in, and Lee Hyori, who starred in popular Korean variety shows “Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny”, “My Sibling’s Romance”, “Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny”, and “Come travel with me, Mom?”respectively, secured the fifth to eighth spots. NewJeans, who made their first appearance on “2 Days & 1 Night Season 4″received high buzz, leading to a more than 100% increase in the show’s popularity, and secured the ninth place. Ryu Soo-young, from “Stars’ Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant”, rounded out the top 10.
At the same time, JTBC/Wavve’s “My Sibling’s Romance”dominated the non-drama buzz ranking, experiencing a 34.3% surge in buzz compared to the previous week, securing its fourth consecutive first-place spot. Lee Yong-woo, Kim Ji-won, Park Jae-hyung, and Park Se-seung were all recognized as significant factors in driving the buzz.
Despite a decrease in ranking, JTBC’s “A Clean Sweep”maintained its buzz with a slight increase and remained in second place. Furthermore, it was the top-ranked show in the video segment of the buzz components.
“Claiming the third spot was MBC’s “I Live Alone”, followed by TVING’s “High School Mystery Club 3″in fourth. Rounding out the rest of the top ten were “You Quiz on the Block”on tvN at fifth, “I am SOLO”on ENA/SBS Plus at sixth, “Running Man”on SBS at seventh, “I-LAND 2: N/a”on Mnet at eighth, “Hangout with Yoo”on MBC at ninth, and “Gag Concert”on KBS 2TV at tenth.”
