On October 7, Vogue Korea released a captivating video titled “Kim Ji-won’s Latest Perfume? Discover What’s in Her Beauty Pouch.”
In this engaging feature, Kim Ji-won showcased her must-have pouch essentials, which included her favorite perfume, a comb, and nourishing lip balm. She emphasized her preference for compact, portable items, stating, “I always carry small essentials when I’m out and about.”
She elaborated, “When I’m traveling or simply want to unwind at home, I prefer using a larger gua sha tool or foam roller,” highlighting her passion for massage therapy.
Having portrayed Hong Hae-in, the third-generation heiress of a prestigious department store, in tvN’s “Queen of Tears,” Kim reflected on her filming experience, noting, “Every aspect, from hair and makeup to costumes, allowed me to embody a sophisticated career woman. It was exhilarating to explore such a diverse range of styles throughout the shoot.”
When questioned about her favorite character styling between Yeom Mi-jeong from “My Liberation Notes” and Hong Hae-in from “Queen of Tears,” Kim replied, “I generally resonate more with Mi-jeong’s aesthetic. However, if I must choose, I prefer Hae-in’s style.”
She added, “During my role as Hong Hae-in, I explored over 100 distinct looks. There were instances where I thought, ‘This outfit is truly stunning.’ It was an entirely fresh experience for me. Thus, while I lean towards Hae-in’s fashion, I appreciate both characters’ unique styles.”
Known for her love of staying in, Kim Ji-won lightheartedly remarked, “If I manage to carve out just one free day amid a hectic schedule, I need to stay home. I use that time to tackle laundry, enjoy music, and lose myself in daydreaming while gazing at the ceiling. The day passes in no time like that.”
