KingBeardX, Renowned TikTok Star, Passes Away at 47

It is with great sadness that we report the passing of popular TikTok creator KingBeardX, known in real life as John Crawley, at the age of 47.

Crawley amassed over 2.5 million followers on the TikTok platform, capturing audiences with his humorous take on food trends and dining habits. His relatable content resonated deeply, solidifying his status as a beloved figure in the social media community.

On August 4, John was admitted to the hospital due to serious respiratory complications. As detailed in a GoFundMe campaign established for his recovery, he entered intensive care after experiencing respiratory failure. Despite regaining some breath, his condition was described as “very bad, ” necessitating ongoing medical treatment.

By August 17, updates confirmed that Crawley was responsive, but he continued to struggle with his breathing issues. Tragically, he passed away on August 19.

“I’m deeply saddened to share the news that Pimpmunkx (KingBeardX) passed away yesterday. Thank you to everyone who has supported the fundraiser so far, ” wrote Anthony Caruso, Crawley’s podcast co-host, on GoFundMe.

According to Caruso, Crawley’s mother expressed gratitude towards the supporters. The GoFundMe will continue to raise funds for funeral expenses and to assist Crawley’s mother during this challenging time.

As the primary earner for his family, Crawley faced financial difficulties exacerbated by a lack of health insurance, prompting the call for community donations.

Before his health deteriorated, Crawley’s last TikTok post announced his plans to organize a meet-and-greet for fans in Mississippi.

In the wake of his passing, many followers have since flocked to social media, sharing heartfelt condolences. Comments such as “R. I.P KingBeardX, you will be missed, ” and “Rest in Peace. Thank you for all the laughs and smiles you gave to this world, ” reflect the profound impact Crawley had on his audience.
