Korean Netizens Respond to Min Hee-jin’s Complaint About Similarities Between ILLIT & NewJeans Choreographies

On April 25th, ADOR’s CEO Min Hee-jin held a press conference to address the dispute between herself and HYBE.

During the press conference, Min Hee-jin, who had previously accused Belif Lab, the label under which HYBE’s girl group ILLIT was formed, of copying NewJeans, highlighted several resemblances in the choreographies of the two girl groups. She explained that the choreographers of NewJeans were deeply disturbed by the similarities.

The comment went viral on theqoo, and a netizen even shared a video comparing the dance routines of ILLIT and NewJeans.

The netizen included a screenshot of a post from ILLIT’s creative director on their SNS account, responding to Min Hee-jin’s statement during the press conference.
