KSI potentially facing retired boxing world champion in next fight

The upcoming boxing match for YouTube sensation turned boxer, KSI, may be against retired world champion Amir Khan in the ring.

After being defeated by Tommy Fury in October 2023, KSI has been preparing himself to return to the boxing ring.

The co-founder of Prime has expressed interest in a rematch with Tommy Fury, a highly anticipated fight with Jake Paul, and possibly even a match against renowned UFC fighter Conor McGregor. However, it appears that his next opponent will be a former boxing champion.

Following a recent medical emergency suffered by Mike Tyson, the status of his fight with Jake Paul is uncertain, causing the YouTuber to engage in online disputes with his long-time rival KSI.

Despite exchanging two shots at each other, Paul implied that KSI might be facing off against Amir Khan in the ring, as the British YouTuber recently announced a fight scheduled for August.

Despite expectations, Khan did not remain silent and instead responded to ‘The Problem Child’ in a repost on Twitter/X. He also hinted that he would be engaging in a back-and-forth battle with KSI, and that Jake would be next in line.

“The retired boxer stated that if he were to pass away, he would still want @JakePaul to be defeated.”

“If you truly take it seriously, you will destroy your own forehead,”Paul retaliated (https://x.com/jakepaul/status/1797037809355637237). “We can then have the fight in February and I will defeat you easily, just like Prescott.”

Khan was suspended for two years in April 2024 after testing positive for the performance-enhancing drug Ostarine. The 38-year-old had previously held light-welterweight world championships from 2009 to 2012 but took a break from boxing in 2022 due to the suspension.

However, there is still a strong desire among fans to witness the long-awaited encounter between KSI and Jake Paul. Unfortunately, negotiations have hit an obstacle as the two parties struggle to reach a mutual agreement on terms.
