During a recent interview to promote his latest film “Escape”, Lee Je-hoon was questioned about the possibility of reuniting with his co-star from the film, Koo Kyo-hwan.
The interviewer specifically inquired about the kind of relationship the interviewee would prefer to have with Koo Kyo-hwan’s character if they were to co-star again, asking if they would want to be friends or enemies.
Lee Je-hoon surprised the audience by selecting “Lovers” , an unexpected choice that had not been previously mentioned. The actor went on to suggest that there could potentially be a third person involved in the relationship between his and Kyo-hwan’s characters, indicating that he had already thought through all the possible scenarios in his mind.
Lee Je-hoon’s comments, in which he expresses his desire to collaborate with Koo Kyo-hwan on a gay project, have rapidly spread throughout the internet, with netizens expressing excitement for the potential of such a collaboration.
It was also mentioned that back in 2009, Lee Je-hoon had portrayed a gay character in “Just Friends,”a film that explores the challenges faced by a gay couple in a society that does not accept them.
