The developers of League of Legends have assured Reddit users that they are working on a solution for a persistent bug in the client that repeatedly sends players notifications from the TFT tab.
The League of Legends client has gained a reputation among players for being less than satisfactory. With frequent bugs and glitches, it is not uncommon for players to express frustration with the client when attempting to join a match.
Recently, players have been encountering a new bug in the client that is just as frustrating as the previous one. It continuously sends them pings to check the TFT tab, even when there is no new content. This has caused frustration among many players, with some even going as far as to refer to it as an “insane”bug.
A developer from Riot Games has been made aware of the problem and has confirmed that they will investigate. They have assured users that a solution will be implemented in a future patch.

Upon receiving the Reddit thread, Riot Barack Probama acknowledged the concerns regarding the TFT tab and assured that they would investigate. In a follow-up response on the same thread, they confirmed that a bug report had been filed for the issue and assured that it would be addressed in an upcoming patch.
The exact reason for this troublesome bug is uncertain, but it appears to be related to the ongoing Five year Bash event in Teamfight Tactics. This event has its own designated section in the client, featuring a new missions tab, daily login rewards, and a separate battle pass.
The TFT tab was affected by Patch 14.12, and the event will continue until July 15. Once the event is over, the tab should return to its regular state, potentially solving the issue permanently.
In the meantime, it’s reassuring to see that the developers are carefully addressing player concerns.
