French content creator Squeezie’s highly anticipated GP Explorer 3 attracted not only tens of thousands of fans to Le Mans but also captured millions of viewers online. Prominent streamer Ludwig Ahgren, who participated in the event, boldly declared it surpassed any event held across the Atlantic. His sentiments were echoed by fellow streamer Hasan Piker.

On October 3, Ludwig took to X to express his excitement: “Today is the first day of GP Explorer 3. I can say pretty confidently this event is cooler than any event that has happened in America. Inspiring stuff, hopefully Michael and I do not crash into a fireball and ruin the stream!!”

Ludwig, alongside fellow contestant Michael Reeves, secured a commendable 9th place in the race, which took place on championship Sunday.

After the weekend festivities, Hasan praised the event, stating, “It’s impossible to put into words how spectacular this weekend’s events were! We in the US have no idea how France’s content creators operate. Incredibly lucky to call @xSqueeZie a friend. What a guy.”

Understanding GP Explorer

The GP Explorer 3 marked the concluding edition of Squeezie’s Formula 4 racing series, held from October 3rd to 5th at the renowned Le Mans circuit. Titled “The Last Race, ” the event comprised three vibrant days filled with live entertainment, which included concerts, opening ceremonies, sprint races, and the exhilarating finale.

In a significant development, this iteration introduced English and Spanish broadcasts for the first time alongside the original French stream. Prominent streamers Hasan and Pokimane provided the English commentary, whereas popular Spanish streamer Ibai hosted the coverage in Spanish. Both Ludwig and Michael Reeves were part of the racing lineup as members of The Crew Motorfest team.

With a staggering turnout of fans on-site and Twitch viewership reaching historic heights, Squeezie’s main channel peaked at over 1.3 million concurrent viewers, surpassing its previous records.

GP Explorer 3 showcased an expanded production format, incorporating onboard radio communications, a revamped points system, and trackside segments resembling those of professional motorsport broadcasts.

Though Squeezie has announced that GP Explorer 3 will be the final race in the series, the immense success and global attention garnered from influential creators like Hasan and Ludwig leave the door open for potential future endeavors in a similar vein.
