On August 16th, it was announced that Gong Min-jeung and Jang Jae-ho will be tying the knot in early September at a venue in Seoul.
As per the report, the wedding is set to be an intimate occasion, with only immediate family and close friends invited to attend.
Gong Min-jeung and Jang Jae-ho had previously portrayed a married couple in the concluded tvN drama “Marry My Husband”in February.
The two individuals, who were already close friends, became even closer while collaborating on the drama and are currently occupied with planning their upcoming wedding.
After the drama ended, Gong Min-jeung revealed in an interview with JoyNews24 that she and Jae-ho had been friends prior to the show’s airing. They were both part of a group of friends that included Joo Jong-hyuk, who is like a sibling to Gong Min-jeung. It was by chance that they met, as Jae-ho had been Jong-hyuk’s roommate for 8 years, and they became friends.
She exclaimed, “I was pleasantly surprised to see him on this project, and it definitely enhanced our experience of acting together. Although, being such good friends, it was initially hard to portray a distressed couple. I found it challenging to maintain my concentration as I couldn’t help but laugh every time I saw his face, even though my character was supposed to be angry with him.”
