The anticipation for Insomniac’s Spider-Man 2 skin in Marvel Rivals has led to considerable excitement among players; however, some are expressing frustration over a rumor that suggests this new skin may not come equipped with a beloved MVP animation.

MVP animations hold a special place in the hearts of Marvel Rivals fans. These animations are cinematic cutscenes that play when a player earns the MVP title at the conclusion of a game. Each character boasts multiple MVP animations tailored to their skins, providing an added layer of enjoyment when players unlock or purchase new skins.

Concerns Over Spider-Man 2 Skin’s MVP Animation

Recent reports from well-known leaker RivalsInfo display Peter Parker’s white-spider skin showcasing remarkable agility during the limited-time Clash of the Dancing Lions mode. While many players praised the skin’s design and fit, the enthusiasm was slightly dimmed by another leak from X0XLEAK, who stated that “Every skin (outside of Spider-Man 2) seems to be getting an exclusive MVP.”

The community’s response has been quite vocal, with one user lamenting, “Is the skin not legendary as it was advertised? No MVP intro as well? They did this dirty. The potential was insane.” Another expressed their disappointment, stating, “Are we serious? No MVP and no intro… Biggest missed opportunity on their part.” A third comment reflected a broader concern regarding the exclusivity of MVP animations: “No MVP kinda blows, I wish they weren’t exclusive to the skin.”

It’s crucial to note that X0XLEAK’s remarks are not yet conclusive confirmation regarding the absence of MVP animations for the Spider-Man 2 skin, as the wording “seems to” allows for various interpretations.

Fortunately for fans, the definitive answer is just around the corner. The highly awaited Spider-Man 2 skin is set to be made available when Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 launches on PC on January 30.
