If you have ever enjoyed piloting robots in vast arenas, then you’re in for a treat with Mecha Break. This thrilling third-person sci-fi combat game takes cues from celebrated series like Armored Core and Gundam, offering diverse gameplay modes, including Player vs. Player (PvP), Player vs. Environment (PvE), and extraction shootouts. In the following Mecha Break tier list, I will rank the characters based on early gameplay insights and their overall effectiveness.

After immersing myself in multiplayer battles, it’s clear that the ideal character largely hinges on your playing style. Players can select from three primary roles: attacker, supporter, and defender. However, certain Strikers outshine the rest due to their formidable offensive capabilities, agility, and user-friendly mechanics. This tier list serves as a resource for you to identify which heroes to experiment with first.

Tier Striker
S Pinaka, Alysnes, Tricera
A Falcon, Skyraider, Stego, Aquila, Hurricane, Welkin
B Narukami, Panther
C Lights

S Tier: The Apex Strikers of Mecha Break

In the S Tier, I have curated a selection of the top Strikers across various classes to ensure most playing styles are represented. These heroes perform admirably in combat scenarios and can be further enhanced through upgrades.

Striker Description
Most As a premier support robot, Pinaka boasts extraordinary healing capabilities and a diverse arsenal, making it an invaluable team asset. Its drones and repair kits enable simultaneous healing for multiple allies engaged in battle. Additionally, Pinaka is equipped with a rapid-fire plasma splitter for defense and an emergency support drone that offers temporary cover while providing healing.
Alysnes Alysnes emerges as a versatile Striker, balancing attack strength, mobility, and robust armor. Armed with a burst-fire laser gun, a melee sword for close combat, and explosive cannons, Alysnes is well-suited for dynamic conflicts. Its shield can absorb enemy projectiles to some degree, while an airdrop feature allows for swift armor and weapon replenishment.
Tricera This formidable defender excels in securing capture points and can fend off multiple opponents solo. Its Gatling guns and Howitzer artillery effectively deplete enemy health, while a deployable Fortress fortifies against most ranged assaults. Tricera also includes a repair drone to assist nearby allies in need.

A Tier: Competent Strikers Ready for Battle

A Tier Strikers are nearly as effective as their S Tier counterparts and can confidently secure victories. Nonetheless, S Tier characters tend to have superior firepower and defensive abilities.

Striker Description
Falcon Falcon is a remarkably agile Striker, adept at tagging opponents and swiftly evading attacks. While its weaponry isn’t as devastating as those of heavier robots, its mobility and recon capabilities make it a valuable choice for initiating and concluding skirmishes.
Skyraider Skyraider stands out with its powerful energy cannon and missiles, arguably among the strongest offensive tools in the game. However, its Missile Dispenser can be underwhelming. The ability to transform into an attacking jet enhances mobility, allowing for rapid repositioning during combat.
Stego Unlike its more agile counterparts, Stego prioritizes firepower over speed. Its Rocket Pod rivals the strength of top-tier energy rifles. The Haze Diffuser can provide cover for allies, while the tank form allows for substantial defensive capabilities.
Aquila The sniper Striker Aquila excels in long-range engagements, armed with a potent energy rifle capable of significant damage. Its defensive shield enhances survivability, while Claw Drones can immobilize enemies, enhancing team dynamics.
Hurricane Hurricane is another robust defender, though it lags behind Tricera due to comparatively weaker weaponry. Its abilities include the Energy Blaster for shield cracking and Turret Drones for supplementary damage, making it effective with nearby teammates.
Welkin Welkin offers flexibility as both an attacker and defender, equipped with a cube shield for protection. Its arsenal includes a powerful missile launcher and a battle axe, while the Jamming Generator disrupts enemy support technologies.

B Tier: Adequate Strikers with Limited Power

This tier features Strikers that remain useful but do not quite match the strength of their higher-ranked peers.

Striker Description
Welcome A light sniper adept in stealth, Narukami excels in mobility but falls short in weapon effectiveness compared to rival Strikers. Its camo and decoy drones provide strategic advantages, albeit its firepower remains limited.
Panther Panther is a melee-focused brawler equipped with a lance and shield blade. While these weapons inflict considerable damage, their lack of range can be a drawback in broader combat situations. Its defensive shields add reliability when engaged close-up.

C Tier: Strikers Requiring Buffs

This tier includes Strikers that currently underperform compared to their opponents and may need enhancements to be viable in competitive play.

Striker Description
Lights Although Luminae has potential for greatness, it struggles to compete against stronger choices like Pinaka. While capable of healing and enhancing mobility, it lacks sufficient firepower, limiting its utility in more intense battles.

It’s important to note that this tier list is based on my gameplay experiences and feedback from community discussions. Rankings are subjective; what may seem like an A-Tier character to me could vary higher or lower for you. Therefore, consider experimenting with various Strikers to discover the one that suits your playstyle best.
