Microsoft releases Builds 23440 and 25346 of Windows 11 Preview, which include a number of improvements.

For Insiders in two different channels, there are two new Windows 11 builds available. In the Dev Channel, the Windows 11 upgrade with build 23440 is currently rolling out. Moreover, build 25346 of the second Windows 11 upgrade is accessible via the Canary Channel.

You may already be aware of the Dev Channel, and yes, these updates are weekly. The Canary channel, on the other hand, is brand-new and was just launched a few weeks ago. Both updates bring minor enhancements to various aspects of Windows 11. These adjustments will be available to you depending on the channel you chose.

  • The Windows 11 Preview Build 23440 for Dev Channel will be discussed first. The update makes modifications to the Start Menu, and users can now see What’s New in the most recent build just under the area labeled “Recommended” in the Start Menu.

  • For laptops and 2-in-1s that are plugged into a charger, content adaptive brightness control, which adjusts the brightness of a specific area of the screen based on the content presented to save battery usage, is now available.

  • The connection bar icon in the Remote desktop control has been updated to match the designs for the light and dark modes.
  • In the system tray, right-clicking the Network will provide a new option. Identify network issues.
  • You may now choose which apps can and cannot use the presence sensor by changing the settings. In Settings > Privacy & Security> Presence sensing, you can access the privacy setting.

Insiders who joined the Canary or Dev channels have access to the two latest Windows 11 insider preview releases. So, you will receive the update if you are a member of either of these two Insider preview channels. Go to Settings > Windows Update to see if the update has been released.
