Under this collaboration, Xbox Cloud Gaming will soon be available in select vehicles equipped with internet capabilities, allowing backseat passengers to immerse themselves in their favorite Xbox titles while on the move. Imagine playing iconic games like Gears of War Reloaded, Black Ops 7, The Outer Worlds 2, and Forza Horizon 5 right from the comfort of your car!

Leveraging Technology: Xbox and LG’s Strategic Partnership

The revelation comes with the launch of a trailer titled “This is an Xbox that goes vroom, ”which showcases this exciting feature for compatible internet-connected vehicles, such as the Kia EV3—a model that is already available. Future versions, including the EV5, EV6, and the all-new Kia Sportage, are expected to incorporate this functionality, with additional models likely to join as they meet compatibility requirements.

Integrated with LG’s webOS Automotive Content Platform (ACP), this feature enables passengers to stream and play directly via the Xbox app. By utilizing Game Pass and other services, in-car gaming becomes a reality. Interestingly, if the vehicle is charging, drivers can also take part in gaming sessions, turning wait times into exhilarating gaming moments.
