Fans are ecstatic after Millie Bobby Brown shared photos from the set of Stranger Things, three months after her marriage to husband Jake Bongiovi, where she revealed her new name.
Production for Stranger Things Season 5 is currently over 50% complete, and devoted viewers have been treated to glimpses of the action behind the scenes, courtesy of the show’s adored cast and crew on Netflix.
Lead actress Millie Bobby Brown has joined the trend of revealing the behind-the-scenes details of Hawkins, sharing a carousel of images on her Instagram with the caption, “11 in 5,”a nod to her beloved character Eleven.
Fans were particularly drawn to one slide that revealed Brown’s new married name for the first time. The photo featured a piece of masking tape with the name ‘Millie Bobby Brown Bongiovi’ written in sharpie.
In 2021, Brown’s name was first associated with Jake Bongiovi, the son of Jon Bon Jovi. They revealed their engagement in April 2023.
The actress openly discussed her wedding plans at the time, revealing to Elle UK in March 2024, “It’s been an incredible journey. My fiancé, Jake, and I make sure to take a photo at every wedding meeting to document the planning process.”
“He is thoroughly enjoying every moment. I haven’t encountered any stressful situations yet, which I believe is a testament to our preparedness and enthusiasm to tackle it.”
Despite expectations for a highly publicized ceremony due to Brown’s status as one of Gen Z’s most popular actors, her father-in-law revealed that the couple actually chose to have a private wedding in May 2024.
“According to Bon Jovi’s interview on BBC’s The One Show, the wedding was a small, intimate affair and the bride was stunning. He also mentioned that Jake, the groom, is overjoyed and everything went perfectly.”
Despite the lack of confirmation from Brown and Bongiovi, her new last name being used on the Stranger Things set could potentially be seen as the actress’ way of subtly announcing her marriage.
People are ecstatic about the actress’ name change, with one fan declaring, “Millie Bobby Brown Bongiovi sounds so powerful.”
