Min Hee-jin on ADOR Management & BTS’s Military Service Advice From Shaman

On April 25th, Min Hee-jin was accused of breach of trust and a complaint was filed against her. In response, HYBE obtained transcripts of conversations between the ADOR CEO and a shaman, who was a close friend that she frequently communicated with.

During their conversation in 2021, the shaman specifically advised Min Hee-jin to assume control of the company after three years. The shaman’s exact words were, “Using the excuse of a corporate merger, you will take over the label you established after exactly three years.”Interestingly, Min Hee-jin’s planned timeframe for taking over the management rights aligns with the timeline mentioned by the shaman. Furthermore, Min Hee-jin consulted the shaman about the appropriate time to sell HYBE stock.

In addition, Min Hee-jin sought the shaman’s thoughts on the topic of BTS’s mandatory military service. Min Hee-jin inquired, “Will BTS serve in the military?”, to which the shaman responded, “They will.”CEO Min then expressed, “Personally, I believe it would be advantageous for me if BTS were to fulfill their military duties. I think it would be beneficial for me to have them absent during that time.”

The two individuals’ wrongdoing involved their handling of management tasks, such as sharing confidential information about employee transfers and disclosing personal information of job applicants. The shaman sent an email to Min Hee-jin, forwarding the job application of a man named Park for recruitment. Following Park’s hiring, CEO Min sought advice from the shaman on where to place him within the company.

There was also a segment in which Min Hee-jin and the shaman took part in shamanic rituals to target HYBE executives. When the shaman mentioned sending head-shaped rice cakes to Min Hee-jin’s home, the female CEO inquired, “How would that assist?”The shaman responded, “It aids in clearing your mind.”

In addition, Min Hee-jin also made negative comments about HYBE executives and trainees. She expressed her thoughts on HYBE’s Chairman Bang Si-hyuk, stating that he lacks fundamental skills and merely imitates others. The shaman advised her to consider choosing the name ADOR, emphasizing the profitability of imitation.

Based on the transcript, it can be inferred that Min Hee-jin had prior knowledge of the shaman before 2017 and had sought frequent advice from them. It was also discovered that the shaman, who is listed as an in-house director at M shamanic business, had previously invoiced ADOR for expenses related to cleaning CEO Min’s personal studio.
