Exciting news for fans of Pokémon and Hytale emerged recently, as the well-established PokeFind team announced its plans to integrate the beloved Pokémon experience into Hypixel Studios’ sandbox RPG through custom mods. This transition marks a significant shift, bringing treasured elements from Minecraft straight into Hytale.

The update was revealed via an engaging post by PokeFind on X, accompanied by early footage displaying Pokémon models beautifully rendered in Hytale’s distinctive art style. The clip highlighted fan-favorite Pokémon from the Kanto region, featuring the iconic starters and their evolutions such as Charizard, Blastoise, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur.

PokeFind is renowned in the Minecraft community for providing a comprehensive Pokémon gameplay experience without necessitating external mods. Unlike other projects, such as Pixelmon or Cobblemon, PokeFind utilizes server-side plugins along with custom resource packs and original 3D models designed using tools like Blockbench. This unique approach has enabled PokeFind to accommodate both Java and Bedrock players, allowing accessibility for console and mobile fans for almost a decade.

Embarking on a Pokémon Adventure in Hytale

The PokeFind team aims to replicate its successful strategy within Hytale. While specific technical details are yet to be disclosed, PokeFind has a proven track record of creating immersive Pokémon environments within Minecraft. Their previous projects included expansive Pokémon regions, engaging NPC-driven narratives, battle mechanics, leveling systems, and innovative survival modes like Pokémon Skyblock.

Looking ahead, the developers have suggested that similar immersive experiences are in the works for Hytale, once the development progresses further.

A developer from PokeFind mentioned in a Reddit thread that the team has been constructing an intricate Pokémon experience within the vanilla Minecraft environment for over eight years. With all their assets and infrastructure established, the focus now shifts to porting it into Hytale efficiently.

They emphasized: “Currently, we are focused on getting something out there as fast as possible and build up from there with the community.”

This initiative comes at a time when Hytale is evolving significantly following its early access launch, as modders begin to explore vast content opportunities alongside official updates from Hypixel Studios.

Although a release date is yet to be confirmed, it’s essential to note that due to licensing constraints, official mod platforms might not distribute the Pokémon content. Players may access this exciting new addition by joining specific servers, similar to PokeFind’s existing Minecraft projects.
