Mojang has ramped up its testing efforts for this year’s much-anticipated Minecraft Fall update. Gamers can look forward to a series of snapshots and previews being released weekly, showcasing numerous quality-of-life improvements alongside exciting new features. The recently unveiled Snapshot 25W33A introduces a heartwarming interaction between golems and enhances chat functionality for a more engaging gameplay experience.
Endearing New Interaction: Iron and Copper Golems Unite
Among the standout features in this update is a charming interaction where iron golems can now plant a decorative flower onto nearby copper golems. This delightful gesture results in the flower remaining in place until the copper golem eventually freezes into a statue form.

When the copper golem transforms into a statue block due to freezing, the flower will fall off naturally. For players wanting to exercise a bit of control over this interaction, a shear can be used to remove the flower, much like a stringent parent keeping things in check. Importantly, this new feature is purely aesthetic and does not alter the abilities or functionalities of either golem.
Enhanced Chat Features in Minecraft Snapshot 25W33A
This snapshot also introduces several key improvements to chat management. Players will now have the advantage of saved chat drafts for unsent messages. This feature activates if the chat closes unexpectedly, such as upon player death or while interacting with specific dialogue boxes. However, if the chat box is closed intentionally, drafts will not be saved.
Once saved, drafts appear as grayed-out text, allowing players to recover them by simply entering additional text, selecting the highlighted text, or maneuvering the cursor. Other noteworthy adjustments in this update encompass:
- A stunning purple flash of light has been added to the End dimension, with a similar visual enhancement expected to debut in the Java edition soon.
- Items stored on Minecraft shelves have received a redesign for better aesthetic appeal, with all items now centered by default.
- Players teleporting to the Nether can maintain an open chat window, enabling communication with fellow players during the transition.
- Participants in the current server will always show up on the Social Interactions screen for a more connected gameplay experience.
That wraps up the new features introduced in Minecraft Snapshot 25W33A. Be sure to check out these exciting additions by downloading the latest patch via your Minecraft launcher.
