On January 7, 2024, popular Twitch streamer Mizkif, alongside his partner Knut, marked the launch of their innovative Iron Forge gym, which is tailored specifically for streamers and features an MMA area designed for fighters to hone their skills.
In the year following the gym’s grand opening, Iron Forge has attracted a multitude of viral moments and has become a favored hub for visiting streamers wanting to broadcast their sessions. But what lies ahead for this unique fitness venue?
In a YouTube update on January 23, 2025, Mizkif provided an insightful overview of the gym’s current financial situation, membership statistics, and exciting future plans.
The Future of Iron Forge: Unpacking 2025’s Ambitions
Mizkif began by expressing his surprise at the high costs associated with operating a gym. Currently, the expenses for running Iron Forge average around $47,000 each month. This figure encompasses various costs, including employee salaries, rent, and the upkeep of gym equipment.
Notably, both Mizkif and Knut have yet to profit from the gym, often drawing from their personal savings to manage repairs and equipment replacements. Despite these challenges, their efforts are bolstered by a staggering monthly income of $74,045 derived from a diverse range of memberships, including grappling and MMA programs, as well as children’s classes. This generates a net profit of approximately $27,045 each month.
As of late 2025, Iron Forge proudly boasts a record membership of 712 individuals, signaling significant growth since its inception.
While the financial landscape can be daunting, the future appears bright for the gym. Mizkif and Knut have recently entered into a partnership with Panatta sports equipment, promising to introduce new machines to the gym every few months.
Moreover, influencers sponsored by Panatta will visit Iron Forge to create content, further amplifying the gym’s visibility and reach.
Additionally, Mizkif disclosed exciting updates in the gym’s MMA and grappling facilities, which now feature enhanced mats, a sparring ring, and a cage for more immersive training experiences.
With these strategies in place, Mizkif believes that Iron Forge can cultivate its own identity independent of his social media influence. Acknowledging the competitive nature of the gym business, Mizkif remains optimistic about their journey, exemplifying that streamers can indeed succeed in the business realm.
