Renowned YouTube personality and philanthropist MrBeast, also known as Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson, is venturing into the telecommunications industry, inspired by Hollywood superstar Ryan Reynolds’ success with Mint Mobile. This move reflects his entrepreneurial spirit as he continues to diversify beyond his YouTube career.
MrBeast has a history of launching various business initiatives, including his Feastables chocolate line, the MrBeast Lab toy brand, and a game show on Amazon Prime. His latest ambition involves establishing a phone service provider, building on the model pioneered by Reynolds.

MrBeast Explores New Horizons in Telecommunications
A recently leaked investor pitch deck, shared by Business Insider, outlines plans for this mobile service as part of several innovative projects under Beast Industries, MrBeast’s own umbrella company.
Insiders revealed to Business Insider that the team is actively seeking potential partnerships, though there is currently no defined launch date for the phone service. It seems that this venture may not be an immediate priority, despite initial indications suggesting a 2026 rollout.
Given MrBeast’s immense presence online, entering a market populated by major competitors like T-Mobile and Verizon presents a considerable challenge. However, with the right strategy, he may not need to start from scratch.

According to the pitch deck, MrBeast’s proposed service will function as an MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator). In essence, an MVNO brands mobile plans by leveraging the existing infrastructure of established cellular networks, such as T-Mobile, to provide tailored services at competitive prices.
This strategy mirrors that of Ryan Reynolds, who successfully marketed Mint Mobile before selling it to T-Mobile for a remarkable $1.35 billion in 2024. MrBeast’s foray into this sector reflects both ambition and the potential for success stemming from his substantial online following.
This phone service initiative follows MrBeast’s recent philanthropic efforts, including his groundbreaking TeamWater campaign, which raised over $40 million to improve global access to clean drinking water.
