According to reports from local media, Pan Xiaoting, a Chinese streamer, passed away unexpectedly during a mukbang live broadcast on July 14th. The autopsy revealed that her death was caused by overeating, as her stomach was severely deformed and full of undigested food.
Despite her impending death, Pan Xiaoting embarked on an extreme mukbang challenge where she consumed copious amounts of food for over 10 hours each day without taking breaks.
Despite being hospitalized for gastric bleeding caused by overeating, Pan Xiaoting did not stop her binge eating habits and resumed them the day after her discharge.
