The latest launch trailer for MultiVersus teases three new characters set to arrive in the fighting game on May 28, 2024, and they are described as extremely malevolent.
In less than a week, fans can expect the official debut of MultiVersus, a crossover fighting game from Warner Bros. Games. The company has already promised three new characters to join the roster of playable fighters, and in a three-minute launch trailer, fans got a glimpse of these upcoming characters, all of whom happen to be villains.
At first, the teaser features Finn the Human and Velma from Scooby Doo engaged in a battle with Bugs Bunny. However, the situation takes a turn when The Joker unexpectedly makes an appearance. The video then reveals more characters joining the fight, leading up to a final showdown with The Joker. In a surprising twist, The Joker unveils his secret weapon – two additional villains: Jason Voorhees and Agent Smith from The Matrix. Together, all the heroes from MultiVersus unite to face their adversaries in a climactic showdown.
Despite not being showcased, it is known that the newest characters added to MultiVersus are The Joker from DC Universe, Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th, and Agent Smith from The Matrix franchise.
MultiVersus, known for mostly introducing playable heroes, has made fitting additions with the inclusion of villains. This brings a new dynamic for fans to enjoy and adds to the already great number of fighters in the game.
