Everyone was beyond thrilled to have Roxy return, especially Rudeus, who couldn’t seem to take his eyes off her. It had been years since they last saw each other and now, as adults, Roxy found it challenging to connect with Rudeus, as he was no longer her lovable little student.
After Roxy developed PTSD from being trapped in the labyrinth for a month, the group made the decision to only explore up to the third level. Surprisingly, they were able to easily conquer the fourth level, as if it posed no challenge for them. Rudeus and the others then returned to the village to restock before proceeding to the next level.
Roxy and Rudeus agreed to unwind at a nearby tavern, where she shared how she had followed his advice to relearn magic. As a result, she rose to the rank of Water King class mage and joined Paul’s team during a difficult time in her life.
Despite successfully reaching the fifth level of the labyrinth the following day, the group faced a new challenge: three teleportation circles, only two of which were two-way. Even Rudeus, who had spent much of his time working with Nanahoshi, struggled to determine which circle would lead them to the sixth level.
Rudeus suddenly realized that the room bore a striking resemblance to the ancient runes he had previously explored with Elinalise. He then requested Geese’s help in searching for any hidden stairs, and to their surprise, they discovered a concealed staircase beneath the floor. After breaking through the floor, they finally came across the hidden teleportation circle that would take them to the sixth floor.
