For a while now, Modern Warfare 3 players have been on edge with the game’s matchmaking system, feeling that it predetermines games to make them lose.

If the problem of SBMM (skill-based matchmaking) has been debated for several years now, players are now expressing their frustration -the bad on the system of distribution of players in the games which is to their disadvantage.
MW3 players are frustrated with “predetermined” games
Call of Duty players’ collective frustrations have always been heard on the game’s subreddit, and recently, a player posted a post titled: “I’m really tired of predetermined games to make me lose. In what world does this make sense?”
In the post, this player shares a screenshot of a lobby clearly showing a disparity in levels between the two teams. If the Reddit user in question is level 215, however, their team is made up of mostly players below level 15 while the opposing team is filled with triple digit players, meaning they have more experience and, theoretically, a better overall level as well.

The comments on this post aren’t very positive regarding the matchmaking either, with one user stating: “The matchmaking in this game… is completely out of control and is actively killing any enjoyment I’m getting.”
Another player thinks the game is constantly working against players to make them lose: “There is no organic play anymore, everything is predetermined.”
Many other players suggest that the best way to combat this is to leave the game before it starts to try to escape the system.
“If the SBMM wants me to stay involved, then they will have to do better in the next game.”
The debate over matchmaking is unlikely to subside anytime soon, especially if the developers of MW3 don’t move a finger on the subject.
