MW3 players mock CoD for releasing the same maps every year

MW3 players are tired of reusing the same cards in every game, and they decided to make it known.

Although each new CoD launches with original maps every year, the franchise tends to reuse certain maps in subsequent games, and MW3 is no exception.

This latest opus saw the return of Shipment, which had already appeared in the previous two games. While some players appreciate the return of these cards, others are less enthusiastic and express their annoyance on social networks.

In a post on the CoD subreddit, a fan made a sarcastic comment to target this repeat: “CoD 2024 launch map rotation leaked.”

While the title sparked excitement among some fans, the post is ultimately just eight copies of the same image from Shipment.

This dig at Call of Duty was met with more jokes from the community, with one user responding: “No, you’re wrong, there’s definitely something missing. If there was Shipment, it would be perfect.”

Some community members later corrected this post by reminding that the next game will come from Treyarch, so the old/new map will be Nuketown, not Shipment.

Regardless, even though some of the community is tired of the same maps every year, many other players love seeing Shipment and Nuketown return, as they provide great ways to tackle camouflage challenges. As long as these cards remain popular in MW3 and other titles, we can be sure that they will continue to return in future games.
