Shotguns are not commonly seen in Warzone these days, and the once-dominant “doof doof”in Verdansk has disappeared. However, this particular shotgun is now quietly reigning supreme in close-range battles, particularly in Resurgence on Rebirth Island.
Despite being a challenging weapon to face in Warzone, shotguns can be a formidable opponent when wielded by skilled players. However, due to current weapon balancing, it can be difficult to excel with them.
This remains particularly accurate as guns such as the Superi 46 and FJX Horus continue to reign supreme in the current meta.
Despite facing the strongest meta SMGs, utilizing the top-performing Reclaimer 18 class allows for significant damage and the potential to eliminate opponents in just two shots, demonstrating its effectiveness.
Our suggestion for building your Resurgence plan is outlined below:
- Barrel: Discourager 900 Heavy Barrel
- Stock: No Stock
- Underbarrel: FTAC MSP-98 Handstop
- Ammunition: 12 Gauge Dragon’s Breath
- Rear Grip: Haste XV Grip Tape
Although we suggest these attachments, we encourage you to experiment with different setups and find the one that suits you best.
To achieve success, complement your long-range weapon, like the STG44 or TAQ Eradicator, with this as a secondary option. For optimal performance, we recommend utilizing the Tac Stance and simply aiming and continuously firing. You should have no issues with this strategy.
If you are at a very short distance from your enemy, you will be able to defeat them with just two shots. However, if the distance between you and your enemy is up to 10 meters, it may take around 3 shots to take them down.
This is why the gun is especially effective in Resurgence modes, where battles typically occur at close range compared to those in Urzikstan. It will prove deadly when guarding the Control Centre or attempting to eliminate the numerous players roaming around Prison, making it even more powerful in tight endgame scenarios.
