The fanbase of MW3’s Zombies mode is in disarray following the developers’ announcement that there are currently no plans for future content.
While MW3 ‘s multiplayer mode has taken center stage since the game’s release last year, Zombies mode has quietly cultivated a solid following.
Many players enjoy the fresh take on classic Zombies mode, with its open design and chaotic cooperative gameplay. However, the developers recently announced that they have no plans to add more content to this mode, leaving the community devastated.
MW3 Zombies Players Disappointed by Lack of Content
The news spread on X/Twitter, then made its way to the CODZombies subreddit.
“According to MrDalek JD, Treyarch has confirmed that there are no plans to add new enemies and assets to Modern Warfare Zombies.”
Reaction from the community has not been positive, with one user simply stating: “I feel robbed.”
A common feeling among MW3’s Zombies mode fanbase is that the mode seems to be dying and there won’t be anything new added.
“It seems like the mode is already starting to die. I was still hoping that they would have improved it in future seasons, but it seems like they really don’t care about this mode at all.”
This news has caused many players to consider leaving the mode, and the game as a whole. One player notably announced his intention to uninstall the game in order to “make room for better games” on his console.
