My Hero Academia: All 10 Class 1-A students who couldn’t show up to save Deku from AFO

Despite nearing the conclusion of My Hero Academia’s final arc, the future of the Hero society remains uncertain following the return of All For One in chapter 419 of the manga.

Despite facing Tomura Shigaraki alone for a long time, Izuku Midoriya, also known as Deku, received much-needed support from his teacher Shota Aizawa and his classmates from Class 1-A at U.A. High.

Nevertheless, it was revealed in the spoilers for My Hero Academia chapter 420 that some students from Class 1-A were missing from the battlefield. Keeping this in consideration, let’s examine the 10 Class 1-A students who were unable to come to Deku’s rescue against All For One.

10 Class 1-A Students Who Missed the Battle Against All For One in My Hero Academia

1) All Might

It is not unexpected that Shoto Todoroki is not present on the battlefield, as he was last seen in chapter 402 of the My Hero Academia manga in a state of unconsciousness after his final showdown with Dabi.

The prolonged conflict between the two brothers concluded with an emotional finale in chapter 390, when Shoto arrived just in time to contain Dabi’s explosion using the Great Glacial Aegir. Unfortunately, Shoto was severely wounded from the intense battle and collapsed shortly after. This made it unsurprising that Shoto was unable to save Deku from All For One.

2) Katsuki Bakugo

It is not surprising that Ochaco Uraraka is absent from the ongoing battle against All For One. Her final battle against Himiko Toga left her on the verge of death.

Despite this, Toga surprisingly managed to save Uraraka’s life by transferring all of her blood to the latter’s body. However, her current state seems to be unconscious and she may not be able to continue fighting, as shown in chapter 402 of the manga.

3) Tokoyami Fumikage

Toru Hagakure, also known as Invisible Girl, was last sighted in chapter 406 of the My Hero Academia manga together with Yuga Aoyama. The two young Heroes were observed eliminating the remaining plants after their fight against Kunieda.

This intense battle reached a captivating finale in chapter 400. Due to the intense combat, Hagakure’s Invisibility was malfunctioning, leaving her partially visible. Since both Hagakure and Aoyama were focused on burning Kunieda’s plants to protect the other Heroes, it is improbable that they will appear in the upcoming battle against All For One.

4) Fumikage Tokoyami

Despite receiving serious injuries during his fight against Kunieda, Yuga Aoyama’s condition was made even more evident by Hagakure’s visible concern for his wounds.

Nevertheless, the latter confidently announced that, as it was his final day as a U.A. High student, he was willing to do whatever was necessary to rescue everyone. Considering his current condition, it is also improbable that Aoyama will participate in the ongoing fight against All For One in the near future.

5) Shoto Todoroki

Tenya Ida has been away from the battlefield for an extended period, but for a noble purpose. He was assigned the important mission of transporting Shoto Todoroki to the location where his family was facing Dabi. Despite pushing himself to his limits and successfully delivering Shoto to his family, Ida’s Engine eventually failed, causing him to crash and be temporarily unable to move.

In chapter 395 of the My Hero Academia manga, it was confirmed that he had survived. However, due to his current condition, Ida will probably not participate in the fight against All For One, along with numerous other characters.

6) Eiji Kirishima

Eijiro Kirishima, also known as Red Riot, has been missing from the My Hero Academia manga for a significant period. His last appearance was in chapter 385, where he joined forces with Hitoshi Shinso and was among those who battled against All For One.

Despite the confrontation with All For One that resulted in the destruction of many Heroes, Kirishima’s current whereabouts remain a mystery.

7) Mysterious Dark Shadow – Fumikage Tokoyami

Despite facing All For One directly on the frontlines, Fumikage Tokoyami was one of the few U.A. High students who did so. However, he and his mentor Hawks were severely injured by the despicable villain, rendering Tokoyami unable to continue fighting. In chapter 385 of the My Hero Academia manga, he was shown unconscious and it is doubtful that he will be able to join the ongoing battle anytime soon.

8) Fierce Beats: Kyoka Jiro

During the battle against Himiko Toga, Kyoka Jiro, also known as Earphone Jack, fought alongside Ochaco Uraraka. Unfortunately, she sustained serious injuries and was last seen unconscious in chapter 395. However, given the ongoing situation on the battlefield, it is expected that she has been rescued and is currently recovering.

9) Electric Guard

Tsuyu Asui, along with Kyoka Jiro, was involved in the confrontation between Uraraka and Toga. During the intense battle, she sustained severe wounds inflicted by Toga. Despite her injuries, Tsuyu was fortunate enough to be rescued alongside her comrades, but it is unlikely that she is in any condition to join the fight against All For One.

10) Electric Guard

Mina Ashido, also known as Pinky, has been missing from the manga for a significant amount of time. Her last appearance in action was in chapter 353 of the My Hero Academia manga, where she fought alongside Kirishima, also known as Red Riot. She finally made a reappearance about 30 chapters later, but this time, only on the cover of the manga.

Despite her absence from the battlefield, she continued to make appearances in flashback scenes. The reason for her absence remains a mystery to her fans, who eagerly anticipate her return in the upcoming chapters.

Conclusion

Despite being absent from the ongoing fight against All For One, the majority of Class 1-A students have valid reasons as they were grievously injured while fighting their own battles.

There is no assurance that they will take part in the upcoming chapters of the My Hero Academia manga in the ongoing final battle against All For One.
