The Epic Conclusion: My Hero Academia Chapter 419

In the beginning of My Hero Academia chapter 419, All For One scolds Deku, who is still depicted as a young, armless child in the dreamscape, for claiming One For All and Yoichi Shigaraki from him. Yet, he also expresses gratitude towards Deku for successfully altering Tenko Shimura’s (Tomura Shigaraki) subconscious, enabling him to reclaim possession of the latter’s body.

All For One then focuses his attention on Tenko, who is plummeting into a bottomless abyss while his body is gradually disintegrating. All For One criticizes Tenko for foolishly trying to hold onto his life and scolds him for betraying his master. He reaffirms that every choice Tenko made in his life was actually orchestrated by All For One, proving that Tenko’s actions were never truly his own.

All For One stated that his interactions with Daigoro ‘Lariat’ Banjo and En ‘Gaen’ Tayutai showed him the importance of surpassing the wielder’s will power in order to gain control of One For All. He went on to disclose that during All Might’s possession of the quirk, he actively searched for someone with a weaker mentality whom he could easily manipulate.

As a result, All For One sought out Kotaro Shimura and subtly influenced him to consider having another child, as his first child was not aligned with All For One’s agenda.

At this moment, All For One revealed that he had stolen the original Quirk that Tenko inherited from his parents before it could manifest. He then proceeded to further manipulate Kotaro’s thoughts and eventually gifted Tenko with a new Quirk.

It was disclosed that this recently discovered Quirk was the same one that had been imitated by Dr. Kyudai Garaki and was known as Disintegration. All For One proceeded to remove the Regeneration aspect from the Quirk and refined it until only the power to destroy remained. As a result, the Decay Quirk was created and bestowed upon Tenko Shimura.

After this revelation, Tenko/Tomura was visibly taken aback, as he came to the realization that all the hardships, struggles, and choices in his life, including his own existence, were all orchestrated by All For One.

Despite All For One’s devastating psychological attack, Tomura appeared to have disappeared after the despicable villain commanded him to do so, making it seem like it was the final nail in the coffin for him.

The Ultimate Rescue: Aizawa and Class 1-A to the Rescue of Deku’s Life

After the shocking revelation of All For One’s calculated planning, the attention in My Hero Academia chapter 419 turned to Deku, who remained in his armless young form as he was forcefully thrown out of the dreamscape and back into the real world.

Now possessing Tomura Shigaraki’s physical form in the real world, All For One emerged from the wreckage and declared the demise of Yoichi Shigaraki, effectively halting his mid-term scheme.

TomurAFO (a combination of Tomura’s body and All For One’s mind) sensed a voice within his head, but quickly ordered it to remain quiet as he used his hand to cover his mouth. It dawned on him that the psychological torment endured by Shigaraki in the dreamscape was now manifesting in his own body.

Additionally, he observed that the Decay Quirk, as well as Shigaraki’s intense rage and animosity, had all dissipated. This made him question if Shigaraki had perished within the realm of dreams.

Despite the loss of his vessel, which he had dedicated so much time and effort to, and his brother, TomurAFO remained determined to achieve his ultimate goal of world domination.

Despite his heroic nature, Deku attempted to stand and intervene against TomurAFO, only to discover that both of his arms had been completely decayed as a result of the events that occurred within the dreamscape. As Deku suffers in intense pain, TomurAFO remarks that their bodies had both sustained severe damage.

Despite being unable to continue the fight, Deku attempted to stand and thwart the villain’s final objective. Just as TomurAFO was about to take the Hero’s life, Hanta Sero appeared on the battlefield, ensnaring the villain with his tape. Despite TomurAFO’s remark on the tape’s lack of strength, he was too consumed with Deku to notice Sero’s presence.

Sero assured Deku that their group had come to rescue him, and at that moment, Mashirao Ojiro and Rikido Sato joined in and successfully pushed back TomurAFO with their powerful attacks. Just as they thought the battle was won, Shōta Aizawa suddenly emerged from a portal and apologized to Deku for his delay. And with that, the chapter reached its conclusion.
