The long-awaited moment has arrived, as spoilers for My Hero Academia Chapter 421 have been released following last week’s hiatus.
The most recent installment of My Hero Academia provided insight into the events that transpired after Aizawa and Present Mic were pulled into a portal by Kurogiri during their battle. The focus was on the intense confrontation between these comrades and how it ultimately resulted in Aizawa’s return.

My Hero Academia Chapter 421: Major Plot Revealed in Latest Spoilers
The chapter “We are here”is the title of My Hero Academia Chapter 421, which continues where the previous chapter ended. Class 1-A, along with the remaining fighting Heroes, joins the battle against AFO. All of the students in Class 1-A, except Bakugo, Uraraka, Shoto, and Iida, explain their motivations for continuing to fight before declaring to Deku, “We are here.”
Despite being a part of Shigaraki, AFO admits that he should have been destroyed along with him. However, he was spared due to the overwhelming grief he felt when Yoichi’s vestige shattered. This harrowing experience helped him realize that tragedies have the power to make individuals stronger.
Despite activating several of his Quirks at once, AFO’s arms were still transformed into a horrific form. Sero quickly countered AFO’s reasoning. In that moment, Shoto and Endeavor arrived on the battlefield through the portal. A flashback showed that U.A. robots had already secured Rei, and Natsu had asked Endeavor to join the fight because staying with Rei would cause her body temperature to rise.
In Chapter 421 of My Hero Academia, Present Mic joins the battle alongside other Pro Heroes such as Thirteen, Hound Dog, and Gang Orca. Burnin, Kendo, and other Heroes attempt to halt the trajectory of AFO’s attack. However, when Deku attempts to aid them, he is unsuccessful.
Aizawa discloses that Eri’s Rewind has not only repaired Deku’s arms but has also reverted his body back to its state from a few minutes ago. However, he remains with all the injuries he sustained during the war. Deku admits that he no longer possesses One For All or any of the Quirks of the previous users. He only has remnants, similar to All Might’s situation in Kamino.
Upon receiving the All Might t-shirt from the civilian, Aizawa presents it to Deku. As he dons the shirt, Aoyama extends his hand, declaring that they require Deku’s help just as much as he needs theirs. With the enthusiastic encouragement of characters like Eri and Kota, Deku rises once more, fueled by their unwavering support, determined to continue the fight.
Although Chapter 421 is set for release this Sunday, fans can also look forward to the upcoming premiere of My Hero Academia Season 7 in May.
