My Hero Academia: Deku could still regain his Quirk (& Eri is the key)

The revelation in the spoilers for chapter 419 of My Hero Academia was one of the most unexpected twists in the manga. It was uncovered that All For One meticulously orchestrated every aspect of Tomura Shigaraki’s life in pursuit of his ultimate goal of creating the ideal vessel.

In chapter 418 of the manga, the reappearance of All For One once again shifted the balance of power against Deku. Despite Deku’s efforts to connect with Shigaraki and assist him in overcoming his hatred, All For One resurfaced in Shigaraki’s subconscious and seized control of his physical being.

Despite Deku’s valiant efforts, All For One was able to render them meaningless and cause him to lose both his arms and a significant portion of his Quirk. However, there is still a glimmer of hope for the hero as Eri may be able to save him.

Eri may hold the key to Deku’s ultimate victory in the My Hero Academia manga

In chapter 419 of My Hero Academia, Deku’s attempt to rescue Shigaraki was foiled when All For One gained control of Shigaraki’s body by manipulating his mind.

Deku was left with a significant injury in the dreamscape, as he had come into direct contact with Shigaraki’s Decay Quirk, resulting in the loss of his arms. With no way to continue the fight, the situation began to seem hopeless for Deku.

Luckily, Deku’s peers arrived just in time to rescue him from certain death at the hands of the despicable villain. Along with them was Shota Aizawa, who appeared through the portal and expressed regret for his tardiness.

The presence of Aizawa on the battlefield provided much needed relief for the readers, as Deku had been battling the villains alone for a prolonged period of time without any chance of support. With his allies gradually joining the fight, there is a possibility that Eri could finally assist Deku and heal his injured hands.

Despite her determination to rush out to the battlefield to assist Deku, Eri was halted by Ectoplasm in chapter 416 of the My Hero Academia manga. He reminded her that she had not yet accumulated enough energy for her Rewind Quirk. Nevertheless, Ectoplasm reassured her that they could rely on Deku for the time being.

Despite being in a completely helpless state, Deku is facing a formidable opponent in the form of TomurAFO (Tomura with All For One’s mind). Even if all the remaining heroes were to join forces, it would still be a challenging task to defeat him. Eri’s Quirk could potentially be the key to turning the tide and allowing Deku to stop All For One’s destructive rampage.

Despite the possibility, Eri would only be able to help if she could find a way to store enough energy to utilize her Quirk. As she was able to heal Deku during his fight against Overhaul, her restorative powers could potentially be his final chance at recovering his arms and Quirks.

However, it may not be wise to bring Eri onto the battlefield and put her in harm’s way against All For One. Nevertheless, if Eri were to use her abilities to rescue Deku and possibly other heroes from certain death, it could be the ultimate solution for the Hero Society to bolster their ranks and finally put an end to All For One’s reign of terror.
