My Hero Academia drops biggest hint about the ending yet

The official Twitter account for My Hero Academia has confirmed that the upcoming chapter will mark the climax of the “final battle,”indicating that the manga will be coming to an end in the near future.

“For quite some time, My Hero Academia has been gradually approaching its conclusion. In 2022, the manga reached the Final War Arc, the definitive storyline, with Chapter 343.”

Afterwards, My Hero Academia has seen significant advancements in both its narrative and character development. Prominent figures such as All Might, Bakugo, Uraraka, and Shoto, as well as secondary characters, have all reached the conclusion of their respective arcs. The sole remaining character with an unfinished story is the main protagonist, Deku.

The current arc of the manga has been ongoing for approximately two years. Fans have been aware for some time that the series would eventually come to an end, as My Hero Academia creator Kohei Horikoshi stated in a previous interview that it would not be a never-ending story.

Finally, the official Twitter account of My Hero Academia has provided a concrete hint at the manga’s impending conclusion.

In a social media post advertising the sale of Weekly Shonen Jump issue 24, the official MHA account announced, “The ultimate showdown is coming to its peak!”

The post explicitly states that the penultimate segment of the Final War Arc will conclude with issue 24 of the Weekly Shonen Jump, which includes My Hero Academia Chapter 422. The manga will then officially enter the climax in Chapter 423.

Based on the consistent release of new chapters on a weekly basis and the numerous character arcs yet to be explored, it can be inferred that My Hero Academia will likely conclude within the next year or so.

Chapter 422 of My Hero Academia, titled ‘Izuku Midoriya: Rising’, centered on Deku as he prepared to battle All For One despite losing his Quirk. With the confirmation of My Hero Academia’s conclusion, fans can anticipate witnessing the ultimate showdown in the upcoming chapter.
