If you’ve been rewatching When Calls the Heart in anticipation of Season 12, you may have noticed that various seasons of the Hallmark Channel’s beloved series are mysteriously absent.
Recent audience data indicates that When Calls the Heart boasts 22 times the viewer demand of most new cable TV series. However, if you’ve tried to stream it, you might have encountered some obstacles.
Rewatching earlier episodes is a smart choice, especially since When Calls the Heart Season 12 is projected to premiere around 2025. Nonetheless, many fans have reported that Seasons 6, 7, 8, and 10 have seemingly vanished from the platform without any prior notice.
As per recent discussions, this issue is primarily happening on the Hallmark+ app, not the subscription option available through Prime Video.
One fan expressed frustration, stating, “Hallmark+ has seemingly overnight removed full seasons of WCTH. I was catching up on Season 8 yesterday but when I logged in today, it looks like Seasons 6, 7, 8, and 10 are no longer available.”
Another viewer added, “I saw that too and I’m confused. I emailed Hallmark about it and they mentioned something about it being renewed for Season 12 and that it will air in 2025, so perhaps they removed seasons based on regional availability.”
As indicated in the comment, Hallmark is aware of the streaming issues. At the time this was reported, their official response stated: “We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and are aware of the lack of seasons available for When Calls The Heart. The Hallmark team is diligently working to resolve this issue!”
While there’s no specific explanation for why some seasons are currently unavailable, two potential reasons could be at play. The first might simply be a technical glitch within the app. As another fan noted, “HM+ has been glitching the past few days. It had the most recent episode of Chicken Sisters listed as 0 min.”
The second possibility relates to the upcoming release of Season 12. Although this lacks a clear explanation, it’s conceivable that selected seasons may become temporarily inaccessible as part of backend adjustments. We’ve all experienced that disappointment when preparing for a binge-worthy series, only to find limited access.
