On October 22, Nam Tae-hyun shared a series of images on his social media platform, captioning them with “fuzzz trip.”
The snapshots captured him during an overseas adventure, radiating playfulness and embodying a cheerful atmosphere.
This update marks Nam Tae-hyun’s first public post in four months, following serious allegations made by Seo Min-jae regarding his involvement in “revenge porn”last June.
In her previous statements, Seo Min-jae revealed, “There was someone I loved. He sent me messages claiming that by revealing our secrets online, I had ruined his life. He threatened that neither I nor my family would ever recover.”
She further elaborated, “Subsequently, he shared personal photographs—ones he claimed had been deleted. I was absolutely devastated. Fearing the consequences, I felt compelled to apologize profusely, unable to believe that he could behave in such a manner.”
Seo also indicated, “Since I was the one who brought the drug issue to light through my social media, I understood his anger. Therefore, I opted not to pursue any legal actions,”hinting at Nam Tae-hyun being the person involved.
In light of the escalating situation, Nam Tae-hyun took to his SNS on June 10, saying, “I am aware that my former girlfriend has been sharing details about our past relationship. It’s unfortunate that she seems to be showcasing only my faults while neglecting the full story.”
He continued, “The matters she is discussing are personal issues from 2 to 3 years ago. We frequently faced disagreements. I assure you that I never engaged in dating violence. Although we had our highs and lows, we agreed to part ways recently, recognizing that it was no longer healthy for either of us.”
Nam Tae-hyun concluded, “While I can’t predict what further narratives my ex might share about our challenging past, I have no plan to disclose any additional details or responses regarding our relationship. I sincerely wish her the best and hope she finds peace and moves past her anger.”
Nevertheless, Seo Min-jae countered his statement, insisting that she possesses concrete evidence to substantiate her claims. She stated, “I recently came across Nam Tae-hyun’s statement through the news. Regrettably, he is portraying me as a liar by arguing that my accounts of the dating violence I endured are exaggerated and false.”
Seo Min-jae asserted, “I have retained all the text messages, video evidence, witness accounts, and medical reports that validate the physical abuse I suffered. It baffles me how someone who has inflicted such damage can urge me to ‘release my anger and seek peace.’ Given Nam Tae-hyun’s actions, I find it hard to believe he truly wishes for my happiness.”
In the previous year, Seo Min-jae made several posts on social media that unveiled her ex-boyfriend Nam Tae-hyun’s drug use. Both are currently undergoing trial for allegedly using methamphetamine together at Seo Min-jae’s residence in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, in August. The prosecution has called for a two-year prison sentence for Nam Tae-hyun and a 1.5-year sentence for Seo Min-jae, with the sentencing hearing scheduled for January 18th.
As a result of the drug case, Seo Min-jae lost her position as a car mechanic at a major company. She expressed to the media, “I’ve lost everything, including my stable job, and while my reputation was hardly honorable, that too has been damaged. My family members have also faced job losses.”
