Naruto is not the Boruto character whose life is in major danger

Since the beginning of the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations manga, readers were under the impression that Naruto Uzumaki’s life was at risk. This was due to the fact that Kawaki, in the manga, had threatened Boruto by saying that he would send him to the same place where he had sent the Seventh Hokage.

Despite the fortunate fact that Naruto was only trapped in another dimension, his life remained in danger as God Tree Jura had set his sights on him. This may lead fans to believe that Naruto Uzumaki was the most at risk, but in reality, Amado was the true target of Kashin Koji’s pursuit.

Please be advised that this article contains spoilers from the Boruto manga.

The Dangerous Consequences of Amado’s Involvement in Kashin Koji’s Mission in Boruto

As readers may recall from the beginning of the Boruto manga, Seventh Hokage Naruto Uzumaki was depicted in a flash forward to still be trapped inside the alternate dimension. This suggests that no one would have been able to reach him until that particular moment in the narrative.

Despite this, Amado’s fate remains uncertain as he is being pursued by his cyborg Jiraiya clone, Kashin Koji. Unlike Naruto, Amado’s future is not revealed in the flashforward, leaving the possibility of his death open.

Despite being his creator, Amado viewed Kashin Koji as disposable, which motivated the latter to confront him. Amado’s willingness to sacrifice Koji in order to defeat Isshiki Otsutsuki put their relationship in a new light. However, after Koji fled from his fight against the Otsutsuki, this plotline was put on hold. Amado was left believing that Koji had perished since he had vanished without a trace.

Despite the events of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex confirming Koji’s return to the series, fans are still left with many questions, the main one being when he will attack Amado. However, with multiple plot points currently unfolding at once, it may be some time before Koji and Amado confront each other. Hopefully, this confrontation won’t be as delayed as Eida’s initial appearance and the eventual use of the Omnipotence Shinjutsu ability.

Despite being observed in the series, Amado’s overconfidence always appears whenever he believes the cards are stacked in his favor. Nevertheless, his confidence has been shattered numerous times, most notably when Eida emerged unscathed from Code’s claw marks. Amado had assumed she had been eliminated long ago, making her unexpected appearance a shock to his core.

Based on the plot scenario, it appears that Kashin Koji’s return will have a similar impact, as he was an unresolved issue that Amado was not aware of. This development not only suggests that Kashin Koji will interrogate Amado Sanzu, but also raises the possibility of a future confrontation where Kashin Koji may even eliminate him.
