On April 13, SM Entertainment announced the official cancellation of Renjun’s activities due to symptoms of anxiety. This was soon followed by his hiatus on April 20.

According to his social media updates, Renjun shared a mix of new and old photos that caught the attention of his fans. The pictures show Renjun sporting blonde hair and a cheerful demeanor, followed by images of serene angel statues. Fans also took note of his playful caption that reads, “I look so lively in this one, haha.”

SM announced the cancellation of Renjun’s scheduled activities on the 13th, resulting in the idol’s absence from NCT’s performance on the NHK show “Venue 101″in Japan and the group’s Weidian fansign event in China on the 14th.
