The internet has been abuzz with speculation ever since the announcement of Pokemon Legends Z-A, as people eagerly try to guess which Pokemon will be featured in the game and what the storyline may entail.
Theories have explored a wide range of possibilities, from Mega Tera Pokemon to Hoopa as the primary villain. However, the most recent speculation suggests that the Ultra Beast Necrozma could be the unexpected protagonist of the upcoming Legends game.
Appearing in a discussion on X, created by artist @SoulSilverArt, the concept of Necrozma being included in Legends Z-A was met with enthusiasm by the community. Although there were skeptics, a considerable number of people found the theory to be well-supported by logic.
Wild Fan Theory: Necrozma’s Role in Pokemon Legends Z-A
Dawn Wings Necrozma from the Pokemon anime.
SoulSilverArt’s theory highlights that Lumiose Tower, also referred to as Prism Tower, aligns perfectly with Necrozma’s classification as the Prism Pokemon.
Upon observation, they also discovered that Paris, the very city that inspired Lumiose City, is often referred to as the City of Light. Additionally, they pointed out that Necrozma is described as “traveling through universes in search of light sources to consume.”As they continued, they hypothesized that Legends Z-A may revolve around Necrozma draining all the light from the city.
In addition, other significant details were highlighted, such as a striking piece of Necrozma TCG artwork featuring Lumiose Tower in the background, a connection between Z-moves and Mega Evolutions, and a dialogue from X & Y that hinted at Necrozma’s aura in Lumiose City.
The TCG artwork specifically captured the interest of fellow Pokemon enthusiasts on the forum. One observer remarked, “Hold on a second. Is that Necrozma in front of the Prism Tower? Necrozma, the Prism Pokemon… If they make this connection and reintroduce it, it would be mind-blowing and completely unexpected.”
Wanted to revisit my Necrozma connecting to Pokémon Legends ZA theory from early May. There were many great points suggested to me in the replies that I expanded on.-Lumiose tower is known as the Prism Tower, Necrozma is known as the Prisim Pokémon, maybe Prisim tower was called… https://t.co/1fIbj9mNDX pic.twitter.com/Mav8mYFX0I

In this setting, a connection to the Pokemon manga was also acknowledged as one player commented, “wait, isn’t it in the Pokemon Manga that Zygarde battles Necrozma?”This is indeed accurate. In the Sun & Moon arc of the manga, Zygarde and Necrozma engage in a fierce battle which hints at a potential link between them.
Although certain players were intrigued by the concept of Necrozma’s involvement in Pokemon Legends Z-A, others remained skeptical. A few viewers criticized SoulSilverArt for overanalyzing the situation, with one stating, “Shouldn’t we just wait and see what officially occurs?”
Regardless of your stance on the Necrozma theory, it is evident that excitement for the upcoming Legends game is rapidly building.
