Currently, thanks to Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver, Zack Snyder has two movies that are currently ranked in the Top 10 chart on Netflix.
The second part of the ambitious new Zack Snyder sci-fi series, Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver, has recently been released and has made its way back to the Netflix Top 10 charts. The first installment, Part One: A Child of Fire, was originally released in December 2023 and has now joined Part Two as one of the popular movies on the streaming service.
Despite initially receiving negative feedback from critics upon its release on the streaming platform, Rebel Moon continued to disappoint. In our review of the second installment, we expressed our disappointment in the franchise, stating that it paled in comparison to the films we would much rather be watching.
Currently, as of writing, Part One of Zack Snyder’s version of Star Wars has received a 21% Tomatometer score on Rotten Tomatoes and a 58% Audience Score. Part Two, released on April 19, has an 18% Tomatometer score and a 53% Audience Score. These scores reveal a divided public opinion on the success of Snyder’s take on the iconic franchise.
Despite receiving some negative feedback, Part Two was able to claim the top spot on Netflix yesterday while Part One also made it onto the chart at number ten. This could indicate that audiences are revisiting Snyder’s lore before watching the latest installment.
The official description of Rebel Moon Part Two states that the rebels are preparing for a confrontation with the merciless forces of the Motherworld, as they form unbreakable alliances, heroes rise, and legends are born.
