The release of Windows 11 25H2 is projected for October 2025. However, Microsoft has yet to confirm the precise launch date, leaving room for speculation regarding the exact timing of this significant update.

For those currently using version 24H2, the upgrade process will be as swift and seamless as a standard monthly update. Will Windows 11 25H2 Be Mandatory?
Initially, Microsoft will not enforce the installation of version 25H2 on your PC. Users will receive a notification to download the new update through Windows Update when it is ready. For those eager to upgrade, activating the option for “Get the latest updates as soon as they’re available” and subsequently selecting “Check for updates” in settings will allow you to initiate the download process. If desired, you can also use a USB installation media or an ISO file to perform an in-place upgrade or clean installation.

Alternatively, enrolling in the Dev Channel now or sourcing the Windows 11 25H2 ISO file via UUP Dump script are ways to access the latest updates sooner.
