New Warzone Conversion Kit: The Ideal LC10 Alternative with Fast Time-to-Kill (TTK)

The current CODtoons event is active across all gameplay modes, introducing exciting new rewards, including a stylish camo and American Dad-themed items. Notably, it also brings a fresh Conversion Kit tailored for the TR2 Marksman Rifle.

Following the nerf of the DM-10s, the TR2 briefly regained some prominence in the meta; while it may not be the top choice for long-range engagements anymore, it shines in close-quarters situations thanks to the introduction of the TR2 CQB Auto Conversion.

The TR2 CQB Auto: A Strong Contender Against the LC10

The TR2 CQB Auto may not achieve the same rapid kill speeds as the LC10 in immediate confrontations, but it boasts significant versatility in Warzone. Its time-to-kill (TTK) performance is competitive with other submachine guns, and it is uniquely unaffected by initial damage drop-off, allowing for efficient kills out to 20 meters. This makes it an excellent choice for those supporting snipers.

Moreover, the TR2 CQB Auto is user-friendly, featuring clear iron sights and a standard 50-round magazine, which is ample for engaging with enemy squads. Although its fire rate decreases slightly with sustained fire, this characteristic enables it to deliver reliable damage in close engagements while maintaining manageability for long-range combat.

Prominent content creators have demonstrated the effectiveness of the TR2 CQB Auto, with professional player Aydan achieving an impressive 45 kills while playing solo in Duos, using it in conjunction with the AMAX. To maximize the weapon’s effectiveness, here is the optimal loadout:

Unlocking the TR2 CQB Auto is relatively straightforward; players can reach it by navigating through the Upper Sky Deck at Overlook. To do this, head towards Verdansk, scout for the tallest building in Downtown, and glide through the opening located about three-quarters of the way up. In case you miss it during the event, rest assured it will become available in the Armory shortly thereafter.
