“ETA”is one of the three title songs of NewJeans’ new album, and the title is an abbreviation of “stimated Time of Arrival”. The MV tells the story of a NewJeans member who found out that a friend’s boyfriend was behaving intimately with a strange girl when they were performing at a party, so they took a video during the performance gap and sent it to their friends to share their progress at any time. The angry friends drove over immediately.

This is the second work of Apple’s “Shooting with iPhone”campaign launched in South Korea. The first was the short film “A Dream of Love”with director Park Chan-wook last year.
“ETA”director Shen Yushuo has collaborated with NewJeans on “Ditto”and “OMG”and many other MVs. He revealed that he had taken into account the need to shoot with an iPhone throughout the creation of the script: “The feature of “ETA”is that the lyrics are very intimate, like chatting with friends, so I used FaceTime on the iPhone (as the beginning), and the dance with large movements was shot in action mode to obtain a stable picture.”

NewJeans’ new album “Get Up”contains a total of 6 songs. Among them, “Super Shy”, which was released first, has already entered the TOP 100 of the UK Official Charts and the US Billboard charts. “Cool With You”attracted attention due to the appearance of Tony Leung and Zheng Haojuan as soon as it was released yesterday. The pre-sale volume of the album has reached 1.72 million copies, and it has reached a million sales volume three times in just one year since its debut.
