Nick Eh 30 has recently responded to accusations made by fellow YouTuber Arcch, who claimed that the popular Fortnite streamer scammed him out of donations during a livestream. This controversy has quickly garnered attention, with Arcch’s two critical videos collectively reaching nearly half a million views.
In his video titled “Nick Eh 30 Scammed Me,” Arcch asserted that Nick exploited his viewers for financial gain. He recounted how he contributed $4 to Nick’s stream, stating that Nick disregarded his donations despite multiple attempts to communicate.
Nick Eh 30 Addresses the Allegations
On January 7, Nick Eh 30 uploaded a YouTube video entitled “Responding to the drama,” where he addressed Arcch’s claims head-on. In this video, Nick asserted that Arcch was attempting to misrepresent the situation for increased viewership.
“He’s clearly using my name to create a false narrative to gain views and propel his channel forward. This accusation of me exploiting my viewers is outrageous and completely unfounded!” Nick emphasized during the video, while systematically addressing Arcch’s arguments. He noted, “At no point did Arcch attempt to contact me through Twitter, email, or any other platform to request a refund. Everyone knows I would have instantly refunded that donation.”
Nick further remarked, “It’s not really about the money for you, otherwise you would have reached out for a refund and removed your videos. But I know that the drama is more enticing than a resolution,” indicating an understanding of internet dynamics and the appeal of sensationalism.
Arcch Maintains His Stance
After Nick’s response, Arcch uploaded a follow-up comment to his original video on December 29, reinforcing his position on the matter. He expressed that Nick only focused on positivity and disregarded the core points from his second video, where he felt Nick lost his composure.
Arcch stated, “While Nick speaks about positivity, he’s trying to spin a narrative that portrays him as the friendly guy while I’m just a clout chaser. Despite the claims, I actually made no profit from either video.” He also addressed his inability to access his exact messages when making the donation, which led him to approximate his communications from memory. Arcch concluded by stating, “I won’t engage further, as engaging with this drama would only harm me. But I stand by my original statements.”
