NICKMERCS has addressed the allegations made against Dr Disrespect by a former Twitch employee who stated that the latter was banned for sending inappropriate messages to a minor.
Two years after the Doc was permanently banned and two years after he resolved a lawsuit filed against the streaming platform, Cody Conners, a former Twitch employee, alleged that an unnamed creator who had been banned was accused of engaging in inappropriate behavior with a minor.
Despite being accused by several individuals in the industry, Dr Disrespect maintained his innocence and released a statement refuting any accusations that his ban was due to wrongdoing.
In response to the situation, NICKMERCS has taken to X (formerly known as Twitter) and shared a video urging others to exercise caution before making any assumptions about the allegations.

Upon learning about the allegations against Dr Disrespect and his subsequent ban, the American YouTuber expressed surprise and stated that he was equally shocked as many of his viewers. Nonetheless, he did caution that these were very serious accusations that could not be ignored.
NICKMERCS questioned, “What are we discussing until we have concrete information? Until we have solid evidence, what is the topic of conversation?”
“Regarding the statement about leaving little kids alone, this couldn’t be further from the truth,”he stated. The YouTuber ended his video with a strong message, saying, “Do not involve little children in your actions.”
“I agree with NICKMERCS’ take so far. However, we should wait for more information to come out before making any conclusions because at this point they are just accusations. It could be either true or false, but we do not have enough information to make a judgment,”one viewer concurred with NICKMERCS’ viewpoint.
Some were not as understanding of the YouTuber’s reaction, arguing that he was trying to defend the Doc because they were friends. They pointed out the irony of always wanting to protect children until it is someone close to us involved in inappropriate behavior with children.
