The top 20 games for Steam Deck in July have been revealed, and No Man’s Sky has made a comeback to the major leagues.
As a new month begins, it’s time to discover the most popular games among Steam Deck owners. The list of the Top 20 Most Played Steam Deck games for July 2024 shows that No Man’s Sky has risen to the top five positions.
No Mans Sky has rapidly climbed up the list, surpassing long-standing favorites such as Hades, Grand Theft Auto V, and Vampire Survivor. From its initial ranking of 30th place, it has now soared to an impressive 5th place.
No Man’s Sky has previously appeared on the list before. Despite its initial negative reception, the space simulation game has now gained high praise and made its debut in the Top 20 Most Played Steam Deck games in September of last year.
The recent release of the 5.0 update, also referred to as Worlds Part I, introduced a plethora of improvements to the game last month. This is most likely what propelled it back into the spotlight for the upcoming Steam Deck.
Hello Games, the developer of the game on Steam Deck, has implemented various graphic and performance enhancements to the already fully tested title. Additionally, players can now discover new creatures and worlds while playing on the go.

It’s highly probable that the challenging nature of the expansion is keeping players on their toes, particularly those on the Steam Deck platform.
In addition, the base game was offered at a discounted price of 30% during the Steam Summer Sale 2024.
